Mamnoon at Noon
We went to go eat Mamnoon at noon for lunch. Mamnoon is the modern three dollar $ Lebanese hip spot set in a former Capitol Hill warehouse. The restaurant is quite the experience that makes you feel in the trendy New York City scene. The decorative details follow suite to provide unique coolness.
The lunch menu at Mamnoon is a solid choice. The popular menu item is the mana’eesh, which is a traditional flatbread wrapped sandwich that comes in a lamb, shish tauok or ackawi cheese vegan assortment. The sandwich was good though the falafel stood out and said what’s up. The chickpea balls were freshest and minty greenest like they’re were making money. Don’t sleep on the falafel at Mamnoon, if you get the Turkish coffee you won’t be able to.
